Abdominoplasty

Abdominoplasty consists of removing skin and fat tissue from the infra-umbilical region. The resulting scars are located on the lower abdomen (low scar), which usually corresponds to swimwear, and another one around the navel. In this surgery, the functional aspect of the abdomen is treated with reinforcement of the musculature through the plicature of recto-abdominal muscles.
